Owing to errors in a Wolverhampton lab, approximately 43,000 people may have been given incorrect negative PCR test results between 8 September and 12 October, including some from Cheltenham.
When the news of the errors emerged, Alex wrote on behalf of all the Gloucestershire MPs to the Health Secretary and the UK Health Security Agency (formerly PHE) calling for early answers to the investigation that is taking place.
Alex was not satisfied with the response received, and continues to press for the findings, even if preliminary, to be shared. You can read Glos Echo's coverage of Alex's letter by clicking HERE.
