Alex was invited to address the Cheltenham branch of HongKongers in Britain ahead of the screening of the new film ''Revolution of Our Times'.

Alex praised HongKongers for their courage and resolve and welcomed new arrivals to Cheltenham under the Hong Kong British National (Overseas) visa programme.

Alex was pleased to answer questions on the history of Cheltenham, the support available and his recommendations on things to do in Cheltenham.

Alex said: "The UK has an historic and moral commitment to the people of Hong Kong and it was a real privilege to welcome HongKongers to Cheltenham.

"The people of Hong Kong are so very welcome here, and I look forward to being of assistance to HongKongers in Cheltenham in any way that I can."
