Alex laid a wreath at the Remembrance Sunday service in Cheltenham as well as planting a wooden remembrance tribute in the Constituency Garden of Remembrance at the Palace of Westminster.
Alex was also invited by Great Western Railway to lay a wreath on its Poppy Train to honour those from Cheltenham who fought for our country. Cheltenham's wreath was placed at the War Memorial at Paddington station.
Posting on Facebook on Sunday, Alex said: "So incredibly proud of Cheltenham today. The town turned out in huge numbers to honour our servicemen and women, past and present.
"1,296 men and one woman are remembered on our town’s memorial. They fell with their faces to the foe, and Cheltenham will never forget them."
