Alex Renews Call For Further Investment in Cheltenham's Roads

Alex is redoubling his efforts to secure more investment in Cheltenham's roads. After significant progress from GCC in the last 1-2 years (the Prom, Montpellier Spa Rd, St James' Square, Tewkesbury Road (part) and other areas have been resurfaced) Alex is insisting there should be no let-up in momentum.

He recently visited Reddings Road for a maintenance update from Cllr Vernon Smith, Cabinet Member for Highways. Based on conversations with constituents, Alex has collated a list of roads that need resurfacing and has recently reported the following roads:

  • Robert Burns Avenue
  • Lipson Road
  • Leckhampton Hill - Air Balloon
  • Merestones Road
  • Noverton Lane
  • Brymore Avenue
  • Finchcroft Lane
  • Keynsham Road
  • Bayshill Road
  • Crickley Hill - Suzuki Garage
  • Swindon Road
  • St Paul's Road
  • Clarence Road
  • Roberts Road
  • Hayden Lane
  • Gloucester Road
  • Malvern Road

Please email Alex on alex.chalk.mp@parliament.uk so that he can raise any roads that require attention with the Highways Department.
