One of the things that makes Cheltenham thrive is its world-class calendar of festivals and events! Last week it was the Science Festival which I went to on the Saturday. One of the highlights for me was getting a chance to meet the people who were running all of the excellent stalls.
These included the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust - of which I am now a new signed-up member! And 'Mo The Atlantic', a group of four courageous engineers who are rowing the Atlantic Ocean in order to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK and ROBOCAP! ROBOCAP is a charity aimed at delivering "Robotic Assisted Surgery," an advanced treatment for prostate cancer, across Gloucestershire and hopefully in Cheltenham General. Therefore it is undoubtedly an important cause.
