This will address a sewage overflow problem that has existed in Cheltenham for decades when heavy rainfall overwhelms the drainage system.
To keep the pressure on Severn Trent, Alex called a meeting with senior management in January to call for engineering works to begin without delay.
Severn Trent confirmed to Alex that they have completed all of the assessment work, and two engineering solutions have been developed. Sign-off for the preferred scheme is expected by the end of March, with an announcement expected shortly after.
