In Parliament

Alex Chalk was first elected as Cheltenham's MP in 2015 and was re-elected in 2017.

During his time as an MP, Alex was a member of the Justice Select Committee which scrutinises the work of the Government in this area. In addition to this, Alex was Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Pro Bono; Co- Chair of the APPG on Cylcing; Vice Chair of the APPG on Public Legal Education; Vice Chair of the APPG on Bees; Vice Chair of the APPG on Lyme Disease; and was a member of the APPG for Highways Maintenance.
