Since his election, Alex has campaigned for major infrastructure upgrades in Cheltenham to boost jobs and the local economy.
As well as helping to secure £400m for the Air Balloon upgrade, Alex has been campaigning for the J10 exit of the M5 to be made four-way to improve access and to unlock housing and employment opportunities in Cheltenham.
So Alex is delighted that the scheme - which is being funded by £229m of Government cash - has been approved by the Planning Inspectorate and will now enter the third stage of the national infrastructure planning process, expected to last three months.
