Alex was invited by GE Aerospace to view the world-class engineering taking place here in Gloucestershire.
Alex also met with young Cheltenham apprentices who are working towards highly-skilled and rewarding careers in the aerospace industry.
Writing on Facebook, Alex said:
"A privilege to join these talented and enthusiastic apprentices at GE Aviation. Their hard work will ensure that Gloucestershire remains at the cutting edge of civilian and military aviation technology."
