Alex was pleased to meet with representatives from the Cheltenham Autistic Social Group and the Job Centre Plus to discuss breaking down barriers to help more people in Cheltenham to secure effective employment and to reach their full potential.
The meeting included an update on how the £210,000 the Government has awarded Gloucestershire to help adults with learning disabilities and autism to move into work will be spent, including assigning job coaches who can carry out vocation profiling, engage employers and provide in-work support to help people to maintain employment.
