Alex invited Sun journalist Jack Elsom to join him in wearing a GPS ankle tag for 24 hours to experience the technology's accuracy in tracking offenders.
A GPS tag is an ever-present reminder of the consequences of crime, and the debt owed to society, which is why Alex is doubling the number of GPS tags to keep the public safe.
The Government has invested £156 million to expand the use of electronic monitoring and Alex recently doubled the number of GPS tags available to the courts.
