The Horizon scandal is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in our nation’s history.

Alex was invited to meet with children from Airthrie School.

Alex was pleased to answer the children's questions, including about life as an MP, his role as Lord Chancellor and his campaign for a Gloucestershire Cancer Institute. 

Alex has introduced a new law to make it an automatic offence simply to fly drones within 400 metres of prisons. Previously, police could only act where there was evidence of contraband being smuggled.

Alex was at the despatch box for Justice Questions.

Alex answered questions on the Post Office scandal, reducing reoffending and the Victims and Prisoners Bill.

As part of his 'grot spot' campaign, Alex has pressed CBC and GCC  to address local eyesores including potholes, blocked drains and graffiti.

Lives of Colour is a Cheltenham based charity which  promotes cultural diversity and community cohesion throughout Gloucestershire.

Alex was delighted to invite Jeremy Hunt, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to Cheltenham. Alex arranged for him to visit for a briefing on our town’s cyber plans, and in particular on the upcoming cyber innovation centre, funded with £20m from central Government.
 

Alex was invited by Cheltenham Tigers to join them at their Wheelchair Rugby training session at Balcarras. 

The team was only set up two months ago and have already attracted twelve excellent players.
