Alex welcomed another 40+ Cheltonians to Parliament this week!

Alex has again urged Cheltenham Borough Council to use their powers to stop strip clubs opening in Cheltenham.

Alex's passion for Cheltenham to look its best is well known. So he has kickstarted his 2024 grot spot campaign with community sessions to tackle the build up of leaves, weeds and litter on the London Road/Hewlett Road junction and in the Suffolks. 

Alex drew on the learnings of renowned seventeenth century English jurist William Blackstone during an interview with Robert Peston about the Horizon scandal.

Explaining that some guilty people may unavoidably be acquitted as part of the exoneration being introduced, Alex said:

Since his election, Alex has campaigned for major infrastructure upgrades in Cheltenham to boost jobs and the local economy.

Alex attended Cabinet for a briefing on the Houthi threat to Red Sea shipping by the Prime Minister, Defence Secretary and Foreign Secretary.

Cabinet meets every Tuesday morning and is described as 'the ultimate arbiter of all Government policy'  by the Cabinet Manual.

Alex was invited by Gloucestershire's Police and Crime Commissioner Chris Nelson to visit the Prisoners Building Homes factory scheme based in Gloucester.
